Joseph Smyth, Conservative councillor for Rothwell and Mawsley ward, recently rolled up his sleeves and tackled a long-standing issue with overgrown trees in Great Cransley.
The local Parish Council and residents had been reporting the street lamp hidden behind the foliage. After struggling to find a solution elsewhere, Cllr Smyth decided to get his chainsaw and sort it out himself. Cllr Cedwien Brown was also on hand with a much-needed flask of coffee!
Yet another example of your local Conservatives getting things done for our local communities.
