Over 10 bags of litter & rubbish were cleared during a community litter pick held last Sunday morning (4th October) in Brambleside.
Local Conservative councillors Ash Davies, Lesley Thurland and Greg Titcombe teamed up with local residents to pick litter at various locations in Brambleside, including the local shopping precinct and in the woods surround the community.
The area is now looking much tidier thanks to this strong and continued community team effort.
“It is always good to join forces with local residents and help to tidy our community. Brambleside is now looking much cleaner and it has been lovely to receive kind comments from local residents thanking everyone for giving up their time to pick litter."
“If residents elsewhere in Brambleside or All Saints Wards wish to arrange another litter pick, they are very welcome to get in touch with myself or colleagues - we will be very happy to assist” said Cllr Ash Davies.
